In next articles, I shall show you my drawings of March, 2009. And to begin, here is a still life in charcoal.

bottle and paper

This drawing is realized from a single step on a book. I found this exercise interesting for the shadows and lights. I have not shown enough represent the forms. This drawing is flat. Even the line is not just. But I made myself happy with this drawing and it is a good exercise.

I like very much the charcoal but I do not know all the subtleties.
