As you know with this article, I continued the painting in the gouache in September, 09 and I made essays. Do not forget that I am always a novice. I thus continue to make exercises on gradations.

I think that without gradation, there is no relief. Thus, here is a test of volume whose subject  is a wooden model for the drawing.

I am rather satisfied with my gradation. Still many things to be improved, but it is the beginning…
I realized this gradation in passing successive layers on the shaded parts. This painting is 15 cms high and was first drawn in the graphite pencil. The support is a sheet of paper of 125g / m ².
